Positive: Comfortable beds

Strange place, but a good experience Positive: Ambiente, staff, hotel park, quiet room that cooled down at night Negative: Location in the middle of nowhere (Clydach). Wasn’t the hotel’s fault – there were no hotel beds in Swansea, so we ended up here.

Beautiful old house, quiet location Positive: The rooms are spacious and the gardens are beautiful. There was a little fridge in the room, which was handy. It was good value for money. Negative: We were there midweek and it seems that this accommodation comes alive at weekends for weddings. During the week there is no bar, and no staff around. You have to drive to neighbouring towns for food.

I won’t be staying here again. Positive: Nice location. Tidy room. Negative: No restaurant available on a Tuesday night. Check in was brief as the lady promptly disappeared. No person visible on site apart from a few other guests. No info on fire drill etc. No breakfast facilities. The lack of overnight cover from a responsible person was disturbing.
